Williams Selyem
Inviting aromas of ripe wild blackberries, Rainier cherries, root beer, and Morel mushrooms permeate the nose. Sweet and concentrated flavors of ripe cherries, earth, spice and sassafras accentuate the ripe, lush tannins on your palate. The concentration of fruit and toasty oak complement the long lingering finish in your mouth. The Riverblock vineyard has truly entered its prime.
Wine Enthusiast
This is always one of Williams Selyem’s most complex, interesting wines. The ‘05 is especially layered, showing a silky, elegant mouthfeel that frames extraordinarily lush flavors of cherries, cola, pomegranates, root beer and dusty Asian spices. Dry and elegant, it’s a gorgeous Pinot Noir now, and should develop bottle complexity through 2015.

Complex aromas of black cherry, raspberry and floral berry blossom have a touch of light oak and a hint of anise and sage. Firm and concentrated. Best to cellar short term. Best from 2008 through 2013.

Wine Advocate
The 2005 Pinot Noir Rochioli Riverblock Vineyard exhibits a deep ruby color as well as pure notes of wet stones (reminiscent of a Bordeaux Graves), red currants, cranberries, and sweet strawberries. It possesses a luscious texture, good acidity, and impressive purity as well as length.

Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.
