Domaine de la Janasse
The Vieilles Vignes is made from old vine (80+ years) Grenache and is Janasse's most limited offering. It includes some Syrah and Mourvèdre in the blend.
This cuvée comes from four vineyard sites with different terroirs (a south-facing vineyard comprised of cobblestones give this wine fatness and power; a soil located in the same place as Chaupin for freshness and acidity; red clay soil covered with cobblestones with a northern exposure brings structure and body; and finally a slope of limestone which gives the smoothness).
Wine Advocate
Absolutely profound, and certainly one of the vintage’s great wines is the 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes. Inky plum/ruby/purple to the rim, with a big, sweet nose of melted licorice, smoked meats, blackberries, cassis, and earth, the wine is deep, powerful, full-bodied, with fabulous concentration, purity, and a multi-dimensional mouthfeel. The finish goes on for close to a minute. Forget this wine for 2-5 years and drink it over the following 25+ years.

Wine Spectator
Has a gorgeous mouthfeel, with intense, racy layers of boysenberry, raspberry ganache and fig that pump along velvety tannins while notes of Turkish coffee, mocha, fruitcake and chocolate fill in the background. The superlong finish flaunts power and depth, but stays pure and refined. Drink now through 2032.

Sustainable practices incorporate organic standards and may exceed them and include ecologically and socially sound business practices such as fair pay for farm workers and energy conservation.
Screw Cap
Wines sealed with a screw cap as opposed to a cork, which experts report protects and preserves wine more effectively than does a cork, while also eliminating the possibility of cork taint.
No Sulfites
All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
