Albino Rocca
Deep garnet red in color, the Bric Ronchi has an intense nose packed with fruity aromas of cherry and blackberry, layered with notes of vanilla, toasted nuts, and sweet spices. Rich, soft, and quite fresh on the palate, it has fine tannins and good length.
Serving suggetions: Savory pasta dishes, grilled meat, medium aged cheeses.
Wine Spectator
Has very focused, intense aromas of crushed blackberry, with freshly sliced mushroom. A full-bodied, massive wine, with supersilky tannins and a finish that lasts for minutes. Yet this is balanced and classy. Very impressive. Maybe another 2000. Best after 2012.

Wine Advocate
The 2004 Barbaresco Bric Ronchi reveals a deep, dark color and a full-bodied, weighty expression of ripe fruit. Long and sweet on the palate, this fat, ripe Barbaresco offers outstanding length and plenty of style. It was aged 70% in French oak (80% new) and 30% cask. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2016.

All wines naturally contain some sulfites, however wines that contain less than 10 parts per million sulfites are not required to include "Contains Sulfites" on their labels.

I still believe it is the simplest way to rate a wine, with its origins from grade school in the United States. A wine that I rate 90 points or more is outstanding (A), and worth buying. If I rate a wine 95 points or more (A+), it is a must buy.
