Blackberries, pomegranates and ripe black cherries erupt from the ’04 Savoy like Mt.Vesuvius on Pompeii. A luscious blanket of flavor enshrouds the palate lingering for an eternity (as you can tell we like this wine). Spices of cinnamon, nutmeg and cocoa reside on the finish creating complexity and mouth feel. She was aged in new and seasoned French Oak barrels for 11 months. Bottled unfiltered unfined . Best enjoyed on the night of a full moon.
Wine Advocate
The 2004 Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard possesses blue fruits and floral notes in its medium-bodied personality. Tangy acidity, considerable complexity, and an artisinal style emerge from this beauty. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
